Also note: there is a 10MPH speed limit on any of the access roads and this will be strictly enforced.

Directions to the METRA High Power Launch Site in Pine Island, NY

GPS Coordinates: Lat=N 41.3322  Long=W -74.4830

From Zeppelin Hobbies:
Take Rt. 23 N to 515. Drive to the first traffic light. Go straight through the light, make left onto Vernon Crossing. Take that to the end ( about 2 miles or so ). Make right onto 517. Continue on that for about 4 miles until you get to an intersection which will be Co Rd 1 or Pine Island Tpke. Make a left on to it. Take it for about a 1 mile and bear right to continue on Co Rd 1 for approx another 2.5 miles. Make a Right at the Triangle intersection onto Co Rd 12 or Lower Rd take that for a mile or so. You will see the METRA Launch Entrance sign to your right. Make a right onto that road and you're at the farm entrance. Continue straight on this road until the end and make a tight right. (You'll cross over a short bridge immediately beforehand.) Continue straight on this road up to the parking areas.

From New Jersey [ Garden State Parkway ]
Garden State Parkway North to NYS Thruway North [ -->Albany ] to exit 16 [ Harriman ] ----> Route 17 West to exit 123 [Goshen] ----> Route 17M West {---->3.4 Mi.} {traffic light} make left onto route 12 [Soons Orchard signs] {----> 6.2 Mi.} You will see the METRA Launch Entrance sign to your left. Make a left onto that road and you're at the farm entrance. Continue straight on this road until the end and make a tight right. (You'll cross over a short bridge immediately beforehand.) Continue straight on this road up to the parking areas.

----Short Cut----
Take GSP exit 163 onto Route 17 North to NYS thruway North to exit 16 and follow directions above. Saves about 10 min IF the North bound traffic on Route 17 is light. Sundays are always light, stores in Paramus are closed. Early on Saturday is light too, but if the stores are open stay on the GSP.....

From Milford:
Take Route 206S Stay on 206S until intersection at Ross's corner. (Exxon on Right, 206S makes a sharp right turn) At intersection turn Left onto Route 565.

Ross's Corner:
Continue on 565 (6.9mi) At traffic light continue Straight onto Route 639 Continue on 639 (1.4mi) to route 23S Make right onto 23S then fast left onto Route 284N (100ft) Stay on 284N (10.3mi) Right onto County Route 1 (Towards Warwick) Continue on Rt 1 (2.6mi) Make left onto Rt 12 Continue on Rt 12 (1.2mi). You will see the METRA Launch Entrance sign to your right. Make a right onto that road and you're at the farm entrance. Continue straight on this road until the end and make a tight right. (You'll cross over a short bridge immediately beforehand.) Continue straight on this road up to the parking areas.

Route 84 West to NY exit 3E ----> RT 17M East {---->1.2 Mi.} {traffic light} make right onto route 12 [Soons Orchard signs] {----> 6.2 Mi.} You will see the METRA Launch Entrance sign to your left.
